Meet The Team
Tony Gomez is a dedicated professional with over 10 years of experience in the SUD and Mental Health field. Mr. Gomez’s academic background is in Psychology and Addiction Studies and is a duly accredited Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC-II). Tony strongly believes in the humanistic perspective emphasizing empathy and clearly acknowledging the good in human behavior, this therapeutic technique allows him focus on ways to help clients improve self-image and self-esteem. Tony actively participates in continuing education allowing him to stay on top of the latest information which he can apply to ongoing client care. In his personal life Mr. Gomez has over 11 years of recovery and is an active member of the 12-step community, in 2016 he founded an open LGBTQ meeting of Alcoholic Anonymous in the Thousand Oaks CA area which continues to serve that community till present day. On his free time Tony enjoys spending time with his family and is a long-distance runner with several marathons completed including Los Angeles and San Francisco with a goal of running the Boston marathon. Tony continues to develop in his professional, spiritual and personal life on a daily basis and is devoted to helping others heal through their process of self-discovery.
