The final episode of a story that aired on the Dr. Phil Show (February 4 – 5, 2020), about a family and two sisters in particular who are having a hard time dealing with their other sister’s overdose. One of the sisters admitted to using drugs to avoid thinking about it all. And to that end, Dr. Phil offers her treatment plan referrals including a referral to Awakenings Treatment Center via Dr. Deena Manion. They look to help her overcome her emotional and drug dependency issues.
In this January 9, 2020 episode of the Dr. Phil Show, his guest, Liz has admitted that she was obsessed with taking 100,000 steps a day and overeating unhealthy foods. Liz was walking around her home for hours at a time without taking breaks and then rewarding herself at the end of the night (upon taking some 100,000 steps) with a slice or two of cake and multiple cups of sugary cereal. With the help of our Clinical Coordinator, Dr. Deena Manion, Dr. Phil offered Liz the opportunity to address her compulsiveness and addiction issues with a dual diagnosis treatment program at Awakenings.
In October 2019, Dr. Deena Manion offered Dr. Phil guest (see video below), Shane, an opportunity to check into Awakenings’ Treatment Center for alcohol addiction treatment. In this video, Dr. Manion discusses his present condition, experience at Awakenings, and more about his recovery journey.
In December 2019, Awakenings Clinical Coordinator, Dr. Deena Manion offered Dr. Phil guest (see next video) Alexis an opportunity to check into Awakenings’ Treatment Center for dual diagnosis treatment. She needed help to recover from the trauma she had suffered from. In this video, Dr. Manion discusses her present condition, her experience at Awakenings, and more about her experience in recovery.
On the Dr. Phil Show, December 2019, guest Alexis is facing criminal charges, along with her fiancé, Lance, in an alleged interstate crime spree. Alexis is told she’ll need to take to prove to the court that she is a suitable candidate for probation in lieu of prison. Awakenings Clinical Coordinator, Dr. Deena Manion offers Alexis an opportunity to check into Awakenings’ Treatment Center for a dual diagnosis treatment plan that will help her to heal from her past trauma.
Dr. Phil Show, October 2019. “Why Man Says He Drinks To Excess.” Dr. Phil reviews some of the reasons why this man says he drinks (alcohol) in excess. Dr. Phil alongside Dr. Charles Sophy points out how the man’s excessive drinking and head injuries (from falling due to drinking) are affecting his brain. Awakenings’ Clinical Coordinator, Dr. Deena Manion then discusses the treatment plan to include Awakenings Treatment Center.
